What is EZ Wedding Planner?
 EZ Wedding Planner is a customized planning tool to help you organize and execute your wedding on plan and on budget. It’s the perfect way to track all those critical details, like guest lists and RSVPs, table seating plans, service providers who help make your wedding special, the budget (who pays for what and when), and over 100 must-do items, sorted by due dates based on your wedding. But there is so much more… invitation lists, helpful hints, event scheduling and tracking, email reminders, detailed monthly calendars … the list goes on and on.

 What about privacy and security?
 Your data is password secure. Since your data is stored on EZ Wedding Planner servers, no one except you has access to the data. None of your data is shared or revealed without your express permission. You can designate a guest page where you can share specified wedding details with your guests. But, you say what to show and what password they need to see your information. And, another security feature is automatic daily backup of all your data.

 What is in the Plan?
 The EZ Wedding Planner Plan guides you through over 100 must-do details, sorted by due dates. Add your own items or delete items you aren’t going to use in your wedding. Totally personalize this plan to your wedding day. The Plan covers all items from your first decision to marry, right up to the actual day of your wedding, and everything in-between. You can choose to display all of the items in the plan, or just see the ones which are not done yet. Check them off as you do them, and see at a glance what is not done. All items are marked with an exclamation point ! when they are overdue, that is, when their dates are older than today’s date. Looking for great ideas and helpful suggestions about the topic on which you are working (invitations, flowers, etc.)? Click on the yellow light bulb to the right of an item for some ideas.

 How can I use the Budget?
 The budget is designed to include all of the items that might be purchased for a wedding, from the obvious bride’s and groom’s attire, flowers, cake, invitations, etc., to the more obscure items like attendants gifts, location maps, site fees, and more. You can always add your specific items or delete any items on the budget template which you may not be including in your wedding. The Budget, calculates all of the costs contributing to your wedding, including your first estimates, the actual costs you pay, what has already been paid so far, who pays for each expense, if credit cards are ok (some vendors require cash), and your comments on each expense item. You start with a pre-loaded budget, listing some typical costs for each item, which you can change to personalize your budget. At any time in your budgeting process, you can get reports which show you exactly where you are budget-wise. See totals on each category (like music, floral, attire, etc.) and also by who pays (like family of bride, family of groom, bride, groom, etc.). Avoid those messy-money misunderstandings that can hang a dark cloud over your wedding and cause hurt feelings among family members. These budget reports are indispensable tools, if more than one party is helping to pay for your wedding.

 What does the People section do?
 With EZ Wedding Planner you can develop your complete guest list as well as the number of people who have been invited to the wedding, reception, or other events. Then you can update this information to show who has RSVP’d and how many people are planning to attend. You can also keep track of everyone’s phone numbers, fax numbers, or email addresses, in case you need to contact anyone. Also, you can keep track of gifts received from each person as well as gifts you give to someone (for example; wedding party members or other participants). This is very handy when it comes time to send out your Thank You cards. You can also enter information on Participation (are they doing something special for your wedding, for example, singing a solo or hosting a bridal shower?). Who is this person? As you, at some later time, look at a gift or guest list, you will undoubtedly find many names you can’t identify. With EZ Wedding Planner you can enter Relationship information, such as friend of bride, groom’s aunt, and so forth, which you will find to be invaluable in the future. You can designate bride's side or groom's side and a count of each is tabulated in case you are tracking the number of guests invited from each side. There is even a batch entry mode that allows you to quickly and easily add quantities of people.

 Can I keep track of personal information for each person?
 Yes indeed. You can enter many details for each person and get instant counts and summaries. Would you like to be able to keep track of events such as birthdays and anniversaries? And then be automatically reminded of them? For each person you have entered, you can include these dates, as well as any comments you may have. Maybe someone did a special favor that you want to remember? You can note this in Comments. In another feature under Options, EZ Wedding Planner will allow you to receive email reminders as these important dates arrive. You can even designate people as smokers or not, for use in your reception seating arrangements.

 What information can I get relating to Vendors?
 Do you need a convenient way to keep track of who is doing what, as well as contact names and ways to contact them? EZ Wedding Planner will allow you to keep track of everyone providing a service of any kind for your wedding by name, address, and category. You can also enter all phone, fax, pager numbers and Email addresses. You can include any comments you may have on each vendor. Would you like to share information relating to your experiences, good or bad, with other couples using EZ Wedding Planner? You have this option, and you can also rate your experiences with each vendor on a 1-5 scale.

 How can Events section help me?
 Have you scheduled any events that you would like to keep track of? You can enter dates, locations, start and ending times, number of people involved, and any notes you may choose to include. The Events section of EZ Wedding Planner will display in date and time order each event that is scheduled along with other time, location, and notes information related to the event. New events can be added as scheduled, or existing events can be deleted if desired. You can also choose to display your events list on your guest page, so they can see what's scheduled.

 Can I receive Email reminders of important upcoming occasions?
 Using the Options feature of EZ Wedding Planner, you may elect to receive Email notification of upcoming things to do from your wedding Plan, upcoming Events, or even birthdays or anniversaries from your list of People. Need time to prepare for one of these occasions? You can have reminders sent up to 9 days before the scheduled date, as well as first thing in the morning on the actual date. Messages are sent in the early morning hours from Minnesota so you will have your reminder(s) waiting for you on the morning of the occasion.

 How can Lists help me?
 You have undoubtedly by this point entered a great deal of detailed information on things to do, people to notify, invitations to send and the like. Using Lists, you can have your Budget information sorted and displayed either by who pays for what or by category, and also what is remaining to be paid. Your information on People can be sorted alphabetically by name, by address, which is a useful tool when addressing invitations, or by RSVP’s so that you can see who has not yet responded. You can display all name and address information on all of your vendors. Do you need to contact your caterer, photographer, or florist? Here is all of this information, and more, at your fingertips. You can develop your seating arrangements or develop a list for your photographer of specific photos you require, such as all wedding party, parents together, or any combinations you can think of. These lists can be printed, so you can have them with you when you are out and about, away from your computer, or, for example, if you need to give your invited guest list to a calligrapher.  Tell me about Options.
 Options is a catch all for a variety of housekeeping tools, like changing your wedding date or changing your password. This is where you specify if, what type, and how often you receive email reminders from EZ Wedding Planner. Options also includes a wedding day timetable and a configurable guest page where you can show your guests a variety of things related to your wedding.

 How long can I use this program?
 You can use it as long as you are "active" which means your wedding has not yet happened and you are revising data at least once in a three month time period. If your email address does not work and there is no activity on your account for a month, the account will be retired. The account will be active for 2 months after your wedding date so you can take care of thank-yous and other final details. There is no charge for using EZWP and since it is free, there is no guarantee of continued operation or availability, but it has been in continuous service since mid 1999 and we expect it to continue for years and years.
